DRC - where are the girls?

It is estimated that roughly 30,000 children serve to some capacity in armed forces and grops in Congo. Save the Children reports that up to 40% of total child soldier numbers may comprise of girls. While the latest Multi-country Demobilization and Reingetration Program (MDRP) Progress Report states that 6,518 boys have been demobilized, only 954 girls have been present in demobilization efforts. Where are the girls?
